PTA Christmas Fayre

7th December 2019
This year’s Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday, 7th December between 2.00 and 4.00 pm. The event is open to everyone in our community and beyond and we hope you will spread the word in your family, and bring your friends and neighbours along to get into the festive spirit with us.
There will be lots of crafts, stalls and games, including the (in)famous tombola, raffle and, of course you can visit Santa in his grotto for an early present!
We’ll also have a licensed bar (accepting contactless payments). Plus a BBQ for hot food and other hot and cold refreshments – so you needn’t worry about lunch/tea!
But, as with all big events, we need your help and support…
Tombola week
The tombola is one of the most popular stalls, and we can’t put this on without you. We are therefore asking children to bring in donations for tombola in our Tombola Week, which will be Monday 18th to Friday 22nd November. Every child that brings in an item for the tombola stall will earn 10 house points!
The Tombola theme is Christmas Stocking. All we ask is that prizes are new (but should not be expensive) and are suitable for children. Some ideas include:
• Christmas stationery
• Christmas hair accessories or deely boppers
• Small toys, games or puzzles
• Sweets or chocolate (no nuts, please)
• Christmas decorations
• Hats, scarves or gloves
• Or anything else that children would enjoy winning!
We rely entirely on donations for the tombola, so thank you in advance.
Cake stall
We will be sending out plates for our cake stall just before the event. Please bring cakes in on Friday 6th December or to the Fayre itself.
Running a stall
Probably most importantly we need people to run the stalls and help with setup/packdown. Would you be able to help? One hour is all we need! If you are able to spare an hour on the day, please email us on
Please look out for our emails over the next few weeks. You can also follow us on Facebook.
Your support is very much appreciated!
