PTA Christmas Presents & Lucky Dip

30th November 2020
CHRISTMAS PRESENTS + LUCKY DIP

The PTA would like to invite your child(ren) to take part in this year's Christmas Presents and Lucky Dips.

As you probably know, in previous years, we would have run this event over a few lunchtimes, and the children would have chosen their own gifts for the special adults in their lives, wrapped them and brought them home to put under the Christmas tree.

Of course, this year looks a lot different and we are unable to run present room in its usual format.  However, we will still be offering the opportunity for children to get Christmas presents for the grown ups - and for themselves in the Lucky Dip!

We have sourced some really nice gifts for the adults and have a range of different things - so that if you have two or more children buying gifts for the same parent, there will be a choice (please indicate on the form if siblings are participating too, so we can allocate different gifts in families).

Gifts cost £3.50 each (including wrapping and blank tags for the child to write at home; they will be labelled M or F).  Please note that the gifts are only suitable for adults.  Edible gifts may also contain nuts or other allergens.

This year, we are also doing Lucky Dip bags for the children.  Since we can't run a Christmas Fayre, we're bringing the fun of the Lucky Dip, that all the children love, to the class bubbles.  Bags will cost £1.50 and include a minimum of two gifts and a selection of sweets.  See the photo below for ideas of what could be included.

If your child(ren) would like to take part, please complete a Google form for each child using this link:  Christmas Presents & Lucky Dip bags Form  and then pay the appropriate amount using your Sims Pay account by Monday 30th November.  (Please note that both the form and the correct payment must be received for children to be able to take part).

Wrapped presents and Lucky Dip bags will be distributed (after quarantine) into class bubbles between Monday 7th and Friday 11th December, ready for children to bring home.

Many thanks
