Animal Experience Workshop

7th February 2019
As part of our enrichment programme, we are hoping to have a visit from Animal Experience, to really bring our Home & Away and Science topics alive as well as maximise the children’s learning and enthusiasm. Animal Experience will introduce the children to reptiles from Australia but as these amphibians don't travel so well and are not great to handle by a large number of people they will bring ‘an amphibian’ for the children to look at. The session will begin with a small educational talk about the animals and the rest of the session will be very hands on, finishing with answering any questions the children (or teachers) might have.
Themed visits like this in school greatly benefit your child by enriching their learning in a practical and enjoyable way to amaze, educate and inspire them, so therefore we ask if you could please make a parental contribution. The cost of the visit will be £3.50. This will pay for Animal Experience’s fees.
Parental contributions for the activity are voluntary, however if we do not receive adequate contributions to cover the cost of this fantastic educational experience, we will have to cancel the activity.
We will need the contribution in by Friday 18 th January so that we can assess if the visit can go ahead. If we need to cancel we will send a letter to advise you as soon as possible.
Please could you complete the permission form using the link below and make your payment via SIMS Agora by Friday 18th January.
With thanks for your support,
