Last nights evening activity Ambush was one of the most eagerly awaited because of last year’s cohort raving about it, and it didn’t disappoint. We had a wonderful time dressing up as commando and sneaking up on each others teams. All thoroughly enjoyed this not least because my team beat Mrs Drysdale’s team!! Thankfully we all had a wonderful nights sleep and the rain that had poured throughout the night was gone this morning. We actually saw blue skies! 2 groups headed off together in search of the lake this morning as they had Kayaking. A very wet, very fun session was had by all, not least 2 very wet adults!!!

Whilst these groups were slashing and spinning around the lake another was climbing through the trees on the high rope course. Another session which just proved the bravery and determination of these wonderful children. They then went on to be taught how to fire a bow and arrow. Some very skilled archer in our midst. Watch out Robin Hood!
The afternoon saw 2 groups, who were now dry, heading off for archery and abseiling. The archers from the morning headed out in the kayaks with the aim of soaking Mrs Drysdale as thoroughly as Miss Page and Mrs Gill had been, and they definitely succeeded. ![]() This evening is the disco. So it’s glad rags on and dancing shoes dusted off. Where do they get their energy from?? A truly hilarious day today. Tomorrow looks to be a challenging day. With Jacobs Ladder, Survivor, Trapeze, Challenge Course, Problem Solving and Abseiling. Wish us luck! |
