Summer Fayre

This year's Summer Fayre will be held on Friday 1st July 2011, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.

All family, friends, neighbours are welcome to attend but please note all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Entry will be 50p for adults and free for children.

We plan to hold a fun event with all our usual stalls including the bouncy castle, barbecue and refreshments together with many other attractions and stalls run by our enterprising Year 6 children.

We will be holding our very popular tombola and once again will run a competition with a prize for the class which can collect the most tombola items on the theme of 'Summer' eg; snacks, garden items, games, stationery, the sea side ..........and much more!  Please could your children bring their items into their classrooms as soon as possible where there will be a box for them to put them in.  The winning class will be announced on the day of the Summer Fayre.

Our 'Grand Summer Draw' is already up and running and thank you to all those that have already sold some tickets.  More tickets are available at the school office. There will be cash prizes of £100, £50 and £25 so quite an incentive to take part, together with many other prizes.

In addition we would welcome your help with any of the following:

Bottles of Wine (these must be brought into school reception by an adult)

Old crockery for the very popular 'Smash the Crockery Stall'

We will be sending out a request for cakes for our cake stall just before the event.  Please could you ensure all cakes are securely wrapped.

As always, your help at the event would be very much appreciated.  Would you be able to help for half an hour or more?  Or maybe help set up during the afternoon or clear away after the event?  There will be a board with a list of jobs in the reception area, please, please add your name to it if you are able to help.
