| Summer Fayre - Friday 25th June |

This year's Summer Fayre will be held on Friday 25th June 2010 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. We hope the weather will be kinder to us this year! All family, friends, neighbours are welome to attend but please note all children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We plan to hold a fun event with all our usual stalls including the bouncy castle, bar-be-que and refreshments together with many other attractions and stalls run by our enterprising year 6 children and in keeping with the events going on at the moment a 'World Cup Challenge'! We will be holding our very popular tombola and once again will run a competition with a prize for the class which can collect the most tombola items on the theme of ‘Summer’, e.g. snacks, garden items, toiletries, games, stationery, the seaside .......and much more! Please could your children bring their items into their classrooms as soon as possible where there will be a box for them to put the items in. The winning class will be announced on the day of the Summer Fayre In addition we would also ask for your help with any of the following, please bring them into school reception. Raffle Prizes - would your company be willing to donate a prize? Could you ask? Any prizes would be welcome and we will put up a list of prize givers in order to show our appreciation and recognition of their support. Please let us know if your company has donated such a prize when it is brought into school. Bottles of Wine - (these must be brought into school reception by an adult). Teddy Bears/soft toys - in a good clean condition. Children's books - Good quality 2nd hand children's books - some of these will be kept to top up books in the classrooms/library, others will be sold on our book stall. We will also be sending out a request for cakes for our cake stall just before the event. Please could you ensure all cakes are securely wrapped.
As always, your help at the event would be very much appreciated. Would you be able to help for half an hour or more? Or maybe help set up during the afternoon or clear away after the event? There will be a board with a list of jobs in the reception area, please, please add your name to it if you are able to help or return the slip below to school reception.
