Christmas Fayre

Winter Wonderland Fayre

12th December 2011

We would like to say a very BIG thank you to all children and their families who came to the Winter Wonderland Fayre on Friday 2nd December  and those who bought raffle tickets in advance.  It as a fantastic evening which we are pleased to say raised £1630.56 (£185 increase on last year).

We had a warm welcome with our carol singers who sang so beautifully, Santa was busy in his grotto, we had more activities and games and our refreshments and fantastic barbeque kept everyone fed.  A huge thank you must go to those that braved the cold outside to cook and serve!

We would not be able to run the evening without the help of parents manning the stalls and also helping to set up and clear away so a big thank you to all those that lent a hand and once again, we welcomed ack some of our ex-pupils who seemed to enjoy themselves.

We would not hae been able to raise so much without the generous donation of local businesses, parents an supporters donating raffle prizes.  Please see the full letter listing those we would like to thank and acknowledge (Information/School Letters/PTA Letters).

This year we were very generously supported by Waitrose, St Ives who donated  the fantastic 'Christmas Day Hamper' which contained all you will need to make the Christmas dinner - including a turkey and all the veg!  The hamper was valued at £174.99.
