School Council Meeting Update

We have just had our first meeting after our return from a lovely half term break.  Several items were raised at our meeting today, one of which sounds a very interesting and worthwhile fundraising adventure - a 'friendship bench' - more on that exciting idea later.................

Save the Children Japanese Disaster Fund

Tuesday 5th April 2011

Alistair Dixon and some children in Mrs Woodgate's Class were on BBC1 LOOK EAST proudly painting their posters.

Friday 1st April 2011

School Council hosted a special Fundraising Day today in aid of the Japanese Disaster Appeal.

We had a 'special' whole school assembly which Mrs Woodgate (our Japanese Class teacher) was involved with and we had some special guests visit us who helped raise our awareness to the plight in Japan.

Every child in school took home some flags to colour in which will be displayed in school.

Total raised: £290.66 which is being sent to SAVE THE CHILDREN.
