Science/Language at Work Day

All our year 6 pupils have been invited to a Science/Language at Work Day at Swavesey Village College.  The aim of the day is to raise the profile and enjoyment of science, to introduce Year 6 pupils to the science department and school and to raise awareness of career pathways in science based professions.  This year it is being extended into languages to introduce the pupils to different languages and enthuse and engage them in this field.  it will be an all day event and the children will spend half the day in science and the other half in languages.

All Year 6's are invited, even if they are not intending to attend SVC.  The children will need a packed lunch.  There is no cost for the workshops, but we are asking for a voluntary parental contribution of £4.50 to cover the cost of transport from school to Swavesey Village College.
