Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School

Fenstanton and Hilton School have again been visited by Mad Scientists!  This time it was not Cosmic Chris who came, but Crystal Claire.  She did some amazing  experiments with us and helped Mrs Woodgate to blow out a candle from 2 metres away. Mrs Turner had lots of fun throwing eggs.  Fortunately they did not break!

One of the children was able to inflate a long plastic balloon with one breath and two Year 6 pupils had lots of fun and exercise making whirlpools in bottles to transfer coloured liquids from one container to another.

Mad Science club is starting soon on Mondays from 3.35 to 4.35.  Children have brought home letters with details about the club.  We hope that lots of our own Fenstanton and Hilton Mad Scientists will join in the fun.   Please return application letters to the Office as soon as possible.  All children from Year 1 upwards are welcome to apply.
