HOMEWORK CHALLENGEAs you know we have been working on our Rainbow Learning Project. This has been about developing learning skills; responsibility, resilience, relationships, resourcefulness, reflection, reasoning. If our children become skilled in these areas, they will become POWERFUL LEARNERS. As part of this quest we aim to introduce a new challenge but this time it’s about homework. The idea is to keep the task as open ended as possible so that children can tackle the question in any way they like. It can be done by themselves, with friends, with siblings, with parents help (although we would like them to take responsibility for the finished outcome). The challenge is meant to be a FUN way to learn and the final work can be presented in any way the child chooses. I have drafted out some suggestions below – but anything goes! All work must be in for a Homework Exhibition by Monday 3rd of November. This will enable parents to view the exhibition during parent/teacher consultations that week.
