Homework Challenge
Our last homework challenge was a big success! Lots of pupils really thought about the task and used creative thinking. The work was presented in a variety of ways.
This time the task is related to the work of the school.
Governors have been looking at our logo and asking the question ‘Does our present logo really represent our school and our values?’
I am sure that everyone will have different opinions about this. It will be interesting to see what our pupils think.
The challenge is to design a new logo.
Check here ... to see the entries we received from the pupils.
It can be done independently or with help from parents, brothers and sisters and friends.
It can be done in any way pupils choose for example;
Ø drawings
Ø paintings
Ø ICT
Ø 3D models
Ø interactive
Ø animation
Ø tactile
Ø any colours can be used.
Ø you can use some elements of our present logo if you wish
However, it must represent our school and our aims in some way.
· What is the message your logo is trying to relay about our school?
· Does the logo show what sets our school apart from any other?
LOGO DESIGNS SHOULD BE IN SCHOOL BY MONDAY 6th APRIL
Here is a reminder of our school vision and aims
Children only have one childhood. Being part of a community of children is unique within life’s experience. In this school we value every child and strive to enrich the whole person. We believe that learning should be vivid and real: a joy in itself. We nurture adaptable and flexible learners who are passionate about learning and have the skills to confidently embrace every challenge and opportunity.
We aim to:
Equip each child with foundation skills, knowledge and expectations necessary to prosper in a changing society - encouraging creativity and ambition through lifelong learning.
Encourage happy learners who are motivated to strive for personal success – achieving their potential and aspiring to excellence.
Establish each child’s sense of responsibility, enabling them to be confident decision makers who contribute to society.
Empower each child to make healthy choices for life and develop positive personal relationships.
Engage every child in building a strong foundation of inner confidence that will keep them safe and secure throughout life.
