Art Exhibition
The children throughout the school have been busy creating a variety of art work for our art exhibition for Fringe in the Fen, which took place on Sunday 10th July. They worked with a range of media and on different scales to produce some outstanding results.
The Foundation children worked together to produce a wonderful display of the Fen in the style of Eric Carle, some beautiful observational drawings of birds in pastels and models of a variety of minibeasts that you might see on a walk around the Fen.

The Year 1/2 children displayed their fantastic observational bird drawings and some beautifully collaged birds that the children had worked on collaboratively in groups. They also created some wonderful 3D birds out of clay and even managed to carve some out of soap!

In their display 'A Window to the Fen', Year 3/4 children produced some lovely detailed Fen landscapes in pencil and collage, inspired by photo's taken on their walk around the Fen. They also used this theme to inspire whole class large scale weavings and a large 3D dragonfly out of junk materials and modroc.

Year 5/6 children used their painting and drawing skills to create some fantastic landscapes in a range of styles including pointillism and also created some wonderful clay heads.
